Eric’s Trip was a Canadian indie rock band hailing from Moncton, New Brunswick. The bandformed in 1990 when musicians Rick White and Christopher Thompson of The Forest joined JulieDoiron and Ed Vaughan (who was later replaced by Mark Gaudet of Purple Knight). Whitedescribed their sound as “sappy melodic pop music on top of thick distortion.” They were the firstCanadian band to be signed to Sub Pop Records, and the band broke up in 1996 (theysubsequently reunited in 2001, and again in August 2006.) Forever Again is the band’s second full-length, and their follow-up to their Sub Pop debut, 1993’s. It was recorded in 1994 at guitarist Rick White’s home studio, Stereo Mountain. It hasbeen out of print on vinyl since its original, 1994 pressing. The 2018 reissue LP pressing will be available on a Magenta-marble colored vinyl.
